BSG TRAVEL FELLOWSHIP
The BSG has created six travel fellowships for overseas gastroenterologists to pay for attending the Society meeting. Each Fellowship will be worth £750 sterling payable by bank transfer after the meeting and will be available to doctors outside the EC who would otherwise find it difficult or impossible to attend the meeting to present their work. Travel Fellowships will normally be limited to two per institution. There is no standard application form. Applicants should write with personal details (name, address, email etc) a brief curriculum vitae, a copy of the accepted abstract/s and a covering letter from the head of their department. The letter should show that attending this meeting would benefit both the individual and the host department. It should also confirm that they could not otherwise afford to attend. Registration fees for the meeting will be waived. The deadline for applying is 5 January 2010.
Applicants should write to the BSG Office, 3 St Andrews Place, Regent’s Park, London NW1 4LB, UK, by fax to +44 20 7487 3734 or by email to A.Orgusaar@bsg.org.uk
