Arrivals / Registration Procedures
Delegates will be required to make their own way on their arrival in the city to their accommodation and the ACC.
Delegates can register on their arrival at the times detailed below; the registration desk will be located in the main foyer of the conference centre.

Badges
Delegate name badges can be collected from the registration desk and must be worn and be clearly visible at all times when attending the conference and exhibition.
Continuing Professional Development
The BSG provide external CPD and if you attend all four days of the conference you will earn 24 hours. Please note that for this information to be documented, you must ensure that your badge is scanned daily at the registration desk.
Credit Card
The registration desk will accept Visa, MasterCard and Maestro.
Discounts for Delegates
A variety of discount offers are available for local attractions, restaurants and shops, full details, can be found in your delegate pack which you will receive at the registration desk.

Exhibition Area Schedule
The exhibition will be held on the lower floor of the conference centre taking in the Lower Galleria, Hall 2M and the new Liverpool Arena. The posters, internet café, teas/coffees and lunches, and computer workshops will all be housed within the exhibition hall and tea, coffee and refreshments will be served continuously throughout the day.

Food & Beverage
Tea & Coffee:
Refreshments are included in the registration fee and will be served in the exhibition area. On the Monday of the conference, refreshments will be served in Hall 3.
Lunches:
Cash–catering will be available at the conference in the exhibition halls from Tues-Thurs. A variety of hot and cold options will be available for purchase with a sandwich bar, salad bar, hot wok, tapas and hot carved sandwiches on offer, as well as hot and cold beverages and desserts.

Delegates can use the message board situated at the registration desk, please contact a member of staff at the desk. Telephone number to be confirmed.
Mobile Phones
Delegates are kindly requested to keep their mobile phones switched off in the rooms where scientific and educational sessions are being held, as well around the poster exhibition.

Over 400 posters are anticipated and displays will be split over the 3 main conference days. Poster sessions will take place in the exhibition hall at the following times.

Smoking Policy
Under UK Law smoking is not permitted in any public building anywhere in the United Kingdom.
Weather
The Conference will take place in March, in spring. As you will know, the UK is subject to changeable weather so you are advised to bring some warm and waterproof clothing. Temperatures generally fluctuate from around 6 - 11 °C.
